i have tried both methods that were posted- and again, when i drag the folder to 'X:/PSP/GAME150/M33CREATOR/' and rename the files- then i try to execute '3.52 M33UPDATE' it again states the "game could not be started (80020148)". I appreciate the help, but must again ask is it truly possible to jump 3.01 oea' to 3.52 m33. help!

or u go could downgrade to 1.50 and update to 3.52 m33 then 3.71 m33

i think thats the most easiest way of upradin from OE to m33

my (+[__]%) life

2.81 -> 3.71-> 3.71 m33-2 -> 3.71 m33-3 -> 3.71 m33-4 -> 3.80 m33 -> 3.80 m33-2 -> 3.80 m33-4

saddest (+[__]%) moment

i upgraded to 3.71

okay, then i will try to downgrade-- i downgraded before to 1.5- so i could install a cust firmware and at the time there where so many links and warnings that said downgrading puts a high risk on bricking....downgrading twice ensures a brick- so the question is if I downgrade, will I brick? If not should i just go to

and use the downgrade and then upgrade

Hey man, I was EXACTLY were you are a couple days ago. It is just a tad confusing getting from 3.10oea to 3.8 m33-5 :P

This is the guide I followed to get me there:

Once I got to 3.8 m33-5 all my homebrew, psx games and everything else still worked right... just remote play doesnt want to work for me. If you can figure that out can you send me a PM.

@BDPO8: this should be what your update folders are like:

The GAME150 folder:

The M33 creator folder:

Do your folders look like mine?

Also where did you buy your memory stick?

okay cb0635- i made my folders look exactly like yours- i had folder named GAME instead of GAME150. I also tried GAME 150 with the space, but now when i start up the psp it is no longer recognized under game. Any other ideas?

-and you asked where did i get my mem stick, best buy-

well the easiest way would be to copy everything you want to keep on your memory stick to the computer then format it on your psp. then recopy the folder M33CREATOR to PSP/GAME150 with NO spaces.
