I have a question to anyone who can help. I have a fat ps2 and want to mod it ,but every game store i've checked they don't sell ps2 online adapter anymore,or CB or even AR.I want to know is there any other way to mod a ps2?I have ext usb HD,and a usb flash drive.

No, all distributors in the US have been shut down. Depends which chip you want. The chip mod costs about 50 bucks with shipping and the duo 3 costs about 30 with shipping. Just depends what you want I guess.

you should be able to find used network adapters at gamestops. they run for about $20 a piece.

as for ARMAX, check bestbuy and circuitcity. i got my ARMAX from gamecrazy.

If you want a network adaptor try Amazon .If you want a mod chip then go to http://www.modchip.com/ps2/ thas were I got my chip. but i just got it and haven't tryed it yet.

I finally found codebreaker at eb games,now what do i need to do to softmod my ps2.I have the following.
1.codebreaker disc
2.usb 320 gig ext HD
3.usb 2 gig flash drive
4.8MB ps2 mem card

i dont know how codebreaker works (i would recommend action replay max) but assuming it has a system of transferring save files from pc to ps2 (usually via usb flash drive) then you should be ok. ext hdd dont work very well for this i dont think, however you could always just open the casing and if the hdd inside is IDE plug that into a network adapter... which i see you also need to get hold of. check the link to my tutorial in my previous post n see if it can help you at all. good luck!
