Do i still need to use BrickBlocker for non-USA games if I have the D2C chip?

Do i still need to use BrickBlocker for non-USA games if I have the D2C chip? cuz i'm trying to play a japanese game and i want it to work properly without bricking.

If you are worried about bricking, you should definitely use brickblocker. I think that in some instances it can mess up your backup file, but what's worse, a bricked Wii or a messed up ISO? Perhaps try googling and seeing if anyone else is in the same instance as you

The D2CKey will make no difference as to if you need to apply brickblocker, as if you update your Wii using a game from another region, it changes the firmware file directories, and will result in a bricked Wii. The D2CKey has no influence over this.

My only advice is always try to get games from your region.
