heres the readme
3.90 M33
--------
Requeriments:
- Installation requires a PSP with 3.52 M33-3 or higher.
Instructions
- Copy the UPDATE folder into /PSP/GAME/
- Get the 3.90 sony update from somewhere, and put it in same folder, with name "390.PBP".
Alternatively, you can let the installer to download for you via wifi.
- Run it, the update will be done by Sony updater. At the end when you are asked to reboot the
PSP pressing X or O, do it.
Changes:
- 3.80 -> 3.90
- March33 NO UMD: fixed (yet another) bug related with exiting with home. (infinite semaphore wait)
Changes in updater:
- The degeneration check and correction of IDS keys happens too in 3.71 now.
- Added code to download 3.90 PBP from net via wifi.
Note that his code is not yet 100% stable, it may crash when selecting AP. In that case,
reinit the installer.
- L+triangle has been restored as method to bypass battery.
If you already have 390.PBP keep those buttons pressed until you see "Veryfing 390.PBP".
If the 390.PBP is being downloaded bia wifi, press those buttons at the end of download until
you see the previous sentence.

Can anyone post an easy way to upgrade to 3.90m33, instructions are kinda loosyl... :P I am totally lolled!
And where can I download original EBOOT for 3.90!

Ok, I'm kinda new to this. I already have the 3.90 "official" upgrade installed. I've had no previous versions of this stuff. Is there a way I can still install the 3.90 M33? Or anything else? This and the dev program are the things necessary to play ISO/CSO, right? Thanks in advance if you can help.

Why is it that every single newbie thinks that to upgrade 3.90 or any other FW to the CFW they can do a simple UPDATE?
You need to use pandora to downgrade... then upgrade using the installation link sicdude placed here and NO dev is not needed to play ISO/CSO only the CUSTOM FIRMWARE!

so .. this means nothing if i'm on the phat right?
edit - doesn't seem to work. alway when i try to install large original blue neon it tells me system is full. what to do?
edit - seems like a podule folder is what's taking all the room. i haven't tried running 3.90 with this folder .. but 3.80 didn't have it.

just wanted to say thanks to DAX and the m33 team...great work and especially thanks for how fast this came out as compared to the 3.80 m33. This is great. Thanks again.

if you are on 3.80 m33 you may as well go to 3.90 m33
the only reason not to go to 3.90 m33 is if you are on 3.71 m33 and the screwed up ms driver slows down your xmb because of the card you have
so far all games run on 3.71 m33 anyway, even the ones like pursuit force extreme justice USA that come with 3.73 update on the UMD
