i followed the instructions below from page 138

i grounded the xbox metal case to my the metal of my computer tower via ground wire w/alligator ends, connected the sata wire from my computer to the xbox dvd drive, powered up both the computer + xbox, now the front circle leds on the xbox is flashing red.....

did i really screw something up???

hmmmmm, Well it shouldnt have flashing red lights. Me Personally I never ground the xbox 360, I just watch how I handle the console when doing a Mode B flash. You should've just used the SLAX CD and odds it would've turned out fine ,We Need more Info on how you got into mode B

stupid me being a newbie to the 360 didn't plug in the a/v cables.

btw, i flashed the hitachi drive successfully, & everything is great!!

The other most common scare is not knowing you switched the tv/hd switch and having sound and no picture. :p
