This may have been asked before but i couldnt find anything in my searches.

My Wii sometimes pulses the cd slot blue light when its on standby. Not all the time though. I end up switching it on and off a few times until it stops.

Is there a way i can stop this happening? I just want it off :)

this means you got a new email. just read the email and it will go away :)

dont know if you can switch this feature off.

nintendo emails you when there is a new update or something. i just recieved a mail from yesterday.

To stop that from happening you just need to turn off the "Connect24" in your settings. That?s the program that keeps you connected to the web 24-7 in order for you to automatically receive email and game updates. Turn it off and it will only do this when the Wii is in powered on.
