First let me say I have never been so happy to see Cromwell boot up on my screen. Had the Xbit and it turned out to be defective. But after a very very very long time working with it. Thing is it was reporting it was great but with my inexperience with what to expect I did not realize it was not till I called my supplier. Back to the point though :)

I am getting ready to flash the 2.3 lite+ but am wanting to verify something first if possible.

I pulled this from the tutorial listed at the bottom of the page.

"Once you have made the wanted changes make sure you match the "file size" with the maximum that your mod-chip supports. Example: The X2 comes with a 1MB BIOS. But the Matrix comes with 256K.
You can see what size your BIOS supports here: http://www.xbox-scene.com/modchips3b.php
Once you have double checked everything hit "Save As" and name it something so that you will remember. Example: "Xecuter 4976.02 Orange NoAni 1MB" (Orange Boot up and No animation) or "Xecuter 4976.02 Virgin 1MB". Again, if you are making NO changes (Means BIOS is the correct SIZE and everything) then you dont need to save it."

Am confused about that. THe 2.3 Lite Plus supports two 512k Bios or one 1mb bios.

So does that mean that I need to set the jumper to bios one and resize my 256k M7 bios to 512k?

Then for my second bios set the jumper to bios two and resize that bios (X24977 256k) to 512k as well?

This is with Xbox tool of course.

Thanks up front for any advice and to anyone considering the X2 2.3 Lite+ I high recommend it. I got a bum Xbit on first try out so exchanged it for the 2.3 lite plus and it went in first try and works great (The pogo pins fit very nicely on my 1.0 Xbox). Only wish is that it had a external USB flash cord. That would make it absolutly perfect. But as it stands still very pleased.
