Hey, I'm new to the homebrew scene but what I've heard is that if you have custom firmware (ie. 3.71 M33-4) you can just put iso/cso in ISO folder and you'll be able to play them from games menu on psp. When i click on games on my psp it says that there isn't anything in there. What am I doing wrong?

THanks for your help.

Do you have custom firmware or official?

You must place the "ISO" folder in the root of your memory stick ^_^
It should be like "X:/ISO" (Where "X" is your PSP drive letter)

I'm assuming you have a custom firmware ^_^

Yeah, I have CFW 3.71 M33-4. I put the iso (it's actually a cso, does that make a difference?) in the "ISO" folder that's on the root of the ms, but still says no games. Is there maybe something wrong with my settings in recovery mode? Thanks again for all your help.

does it say "corrupted data" or anything like that under the game selection menu? and keep in mind that the iso or cso doesnt need its own folder. you can put it directly into the ISO folder as is.

i actually just re-installed 3.71 m33 after i had the same issue. do you think it would be worth it to upgrade to 3.80 m33 or 3.90 m33? would this maybe solve the problem?

it actually could, someone else was having a similar problem, something wasnt working for them with 3.8 so they upgraded to 3.9 and voila... that fixed the problem. so i recommend you upgrade the at least 3.80 and you might want to hold off on 3.90 M33 cause the popsloader plugins are not out yet to play PSX games on.

Try reformatting your memory stick in settings/system settings/ format ms, make sure you back up any songs, videos and pics that you want to keep first!!!

I've upgraded to 3.80 m33 and reformatted my ms, but it still says "there are no games". I guess i'll just have to keep looking around for answers. thanks to the people who gave suggestions.
