I'm having an issue that I've seen many people speak about on various sites and forums but no real response to:

I keep getting a "data corrupted" error when trying to "view" or use the overflow.tif file on my PSP. I've downloaded all necessary files from trustworthy sites (MPH Downgrader for 2.0 to 1.5 and EBOOT.pbp from EBOOT 1.5) and copied the h.bin and index.dat files to my PSP's root directory. I also copied the overflow.tif file into the PHOTO folder in my PSP/PHOTO directory. When I unplug (or leave plugged in, I've tried both) the USB from my PSP, plug in the AC adaptor, and go to my "Photo" folder, I choose to view the file on my memory stick (overflow.tif) but it says "data corrupted" and will not run the program/give me the error/crash code as it should. I'll list the folders and directories on my PSP in case I've just misplaced something. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Root directory:

MEMSTICK.IND (file)
MP_ROOT
>100MNV01
>101ANV01
MSTK_PRO.IND (file)
MUSIC
PICTURE
PSP (folder)
>COMMON (folder)
>GAME>UPDATE>EBOOT.PBP (file)
>PHOTO>overflow.tif
>SAVEDATA
>SYSTEM
>THEME
VIDEO (folder)
h.bin
index.dat

Hopefully that makes sense and someone can help me on this - thanks again.

Well, according to me, I juz downgraded my PSP from 2.00 - 1.50 today and darn it gave me alot of problems >_<
*Downgraded it successfully though >_>*
Well, I would recommend that you format your PSP memory stick (Make a backup of whatever files you want first)
And then update your PSP to 2.71 firmware :)
*DO NOT UPDATE FURTHER AS YOU MAY REQUIRE GTA:LCS OR LUMINES WHICH IS VERY RARE* (Or you'll have to use the pandora battery hack which requires another PSP with cfw >_>)
2.71 Update : HERE (Choose the correct region of your PSP)
Ultimate guide to downgrading your PSP : HERE (Choose your firmware and downgrade)

EDIT : Remove your email ID too man ^_^
Also, after you put the files in your PSP, completely shut down your PSP and start it again ^_^
Then you'll have more possibilities for the HEN-D to get enabled ^_^
I'm talking about the 2.71 downgrader ^_^

My (+[__]%) life - HERE :)
*Why do I take it all ??? Why do I beg for more ??? I never thought that this is how I Hit The Floor* Bullet For my Valentine darn rulez !!!! \m/ ^_^ \m/
Guide on how to use popsloader : HERE / Working and non-working pandora batteries : HERE

Thanks for the heads up about the e-mail, should've known better. And thanks for the info. I thought everything was going to work until I realized I've got ver 3.72 running, as I just picked up the PSP a couple of days ago. That being said, it won't let me roll back to 2.71 and the most recent fix they have for this on the site you linked to is for ver. 3.11 - I guess I'll keep looking. I appreciate the info.

Dude :P
There is a universal downgrader :)
HERE is a good downgrader ^_^
But you need "another" PSP with a "custom firmware or 1.50 firmware" to make the pandora battery ^_^

I juz bricked my PSP :P
I'm gonna unbrick it now :P
I'm in no tension cuz I've done this thing many times and well, downgrading with pandora is juz too easy ^_^
