Devhook 0.45 + firmware problem

I have a devhook version 0,45 with 2,71 firmware. Some games, for example mx vs. atv untamed requires firmware 3,71 or higher and won't work with my devhook. Is there any (easy) solution to this problem?

upgrade to 3.80m33-5 u don't need devhook and all ur games will work

Updating to 3.80m33-5 is not an option anymore. I tried to do that for days but because there's no way to find out the firmware version of this console (because the use of 'sxt fw version changer' at some point) it is nearly impossible to upgrade or downgrade this machine.

This is not even my machine so I'm not interested wasting my time with this console any longer. So...devhook 0,45 is just fine; if there is a (quick and easy) solution to the firmware problem...that's better.

use the universal unbricker v4 and the pandora battery that will take you straight to 3.80m33-5 with no problems
