Im a helpless mother trying to set up XBox live on the computer. I have connected all the ethernet cables, and put the disc in the console, now what? Should a dashboard pop up on the computer screen, do I need to connect AV cables? I am helpless

You need to have the av cables connected also so you can see the xbox 360 pic. It would be easiest to just call 800-4-my-xbox and let them help you connect it, what they get paid for.

Thanks for the reply. I didn't know there was an 800 number to call. And in the meantime, I went out and bought the wireless adaptor and am connected. Again, Thanks for the help
