I installed 3.80 M33 -5 and it worked like twice and froze on GTA VCS

say no more, i think the problem is with the memory stick due to the fact that 99% of memory sticks from ebay are fake

It's true that a lot of stuff on ebay is fake but - I recently bought a second battery for my phone knowing it had to be fake but I only wanted it as a spare - it was very cheap and I was happy.

Regarding memory - I have bought 2 supposed Sony 4Gb sticks ... I'd be hard pressed to tell they were fakes and still dunno but they were 50% cheaper than the usual. I've had no probs to the point that I'm gonna get a third. If you want genuine Sony then you can't afford to take chances on ebay but if you want cheap memory then you can't afford not to. That should be the criteria for whether you send one or both back imho. Not telling you what to do - but just saying whilst there may be problems with fake it's hard really for anyone to say if it's typical or not.

Do original Sandisk MS show up as Magicgate on PSP's? Or do PSP's only recognize official Sony MS?

I'm thinking of buying one to use as a second Magic MS

Thanks

there are some good fake memory sticks out there but there are also some really bad fake ones i have 1 fake 4gb and a real 4gb and they work exactly the same as each other but i have had bad cards in the past where they won't hold the amount it's supposed to and some that can't even be read at all, if you're gonna get a memstick off ebay you gotta hope for the best lol
