I do understand how hard it is and I'm certainly willing to take risks of modding my wii, even though it may break, but I'm simply not willing to pay $600 for a premodded WII. It's insane.
What are the required tools to mod a WII with D2CKEY? I'm willing to mod my WII with D2CKEY and Flexpcb.
I'd appriciate it if you can provide a detailed tools from soldering iron, to wires etc, and where to buy them.

The cost of a premodded Wii is greatly offset by the benefits.
The cost of having a go yourself based on your knowledge (cos it is a pro job) will prolly be your current unmodded Wii, the chip, the soldering equipment, the time, the stress and $600 for a new premodded Wii :D

modchipcentral.com offers drive units with D2CKey or ARGON pre-installed onto the drive. The price is $240. So your talking close to $500 after buying the Wii and buying the pre-installed Modchip Drive.
$100 cheaper then $600.
The cheapest way to go is buying a Modchip and just pay for someone to install it for you. But I understand some would rather not take the chance sending their Wii out to a stranger and this is just another alternative to consider.

Problem is, I already bought the WII, that's why I was trying to mod it myself. Unless if there is a reliable place where they offer an installation service for a reasonable price (CERTAINLY DOES NOT MEAN THAT THEY SHOULD CHARGE $300 FOR INSTALLATION + MODCHIP), I'm going to do it myself.

Magnifying glass - steady hands and as much practice as possible at soldering to a practice PCB with similar types of connections. A complete novice would benefit from a couple of steel nuts as well ;)
