As it stands right now, I have a USA-Wii with Wiikey updated to 1.9g. The thing is that some time ago, I accidentally updated my Wii with a PAL version of SMG, so my firmware stands at 3.1E. Luckily it didn't completely brick my Wii, only disabled system settings and Wifi connection.
I'm wondering if it is safe for me to do the %15 trick and just go about playing the game as other do, or would that keep a US copy of SSBB from updating my system down the road?
With that said also, does anyone think that when the US version of SSBB comes out, that it will actually fix/unsemibrick US Wiis with European firmware?
