Where can you buy a Modchip wii or wii key? I have the old model wii so it wont need a d2c. What wiikey or modchip can allow me to play all region wii games and allow me to upgrade my wii software so that i can play future games? (Super mario galaxy needed a wii software upgrade) Thanks.

No modchip will allow you to play 100% of all different region games.

That said I suggest the Wiikey. You can buy it at www.modchipcentral.com

you dont need to get a modchip, its easier to do without the modchip, alls you need to play backup's is your head

if you want a mod cheap for wii then this is the ABSOLUTE BEST!!

on modchipcentral.com, is it best to get the "Wiikey Modchip / Triwing Screwdriver Bundle"? Doesn't it suppose to come with some kind of setup disk?

If you don't have a Tri-Wing screwdriver then you can get that deal.

You will have to download the setup disc yourself. You can find it in the stickies.

My friend got his wii modded with wii key with some local guy and it doesn't really work well. After ejecting backup disks and putting it back in, the wii wouldn't read any backups anymore. It read backups for like 1 month until the problem occurred. So he kept taking it back to him like 5 times now and the same problem happened repeatedly. He used Verbatim DVD-R. Anyways, is it possible for him to buy a new wii key at www.modchipcentral.com and replace it with the one he has right now in the wii? Maybe that will fix his backup playing problem?
