Greetings everyone,

I'm a noob and I just wanted to ask something. If i brick my psp while trying to downgrade(full brick). Can i fully restore my PSP to working condition if i didn't back up Id_storage and flash as in being able to play CSO's ISO's and UMDs.(P.S i will have access to another CF PSP for the unbrick process)

Thanx everyone

First of all, to get back to official firmware from custom, you must downgrade back to 1.5. To downgrade to it, you must change the ID_STORAGE keys, or otherwise the PSP won't let you downgrade. And when on 1.5 after all, how would it be possible to trick someone to 3.40 or anything.

i dont think you can, if you can boot into the recovery menu then you can try to use the recovery eboot

the only way to unbrick would be pandoras battery
now there is a new one that goes strait to CFW 3.71 or to 1.50

best part is it install it for you in under 3 mminutes

Is a hacked PSP needed to run this? Or can i use it with a Datel Tool Battery on a unhacked PSPslim?

in order to CREATE A PANDORA'S BATTERY YOU NEED A PSP WITH CUSTOM FIRMWARE+ YES A "HACKED PSP"

yes that is a pandora's battery (basically) it will bring your firmware down to 1.5, but you also need to make a MAGIC STICK
use this installer i gave you
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
when using the installer i gave you DONT select the option 4#
or any others of them beside the one that gives you the original service battery, the one that downgrades to 1.50 AND THAT'S IT
because the Datel Tool battery may not support another magic stick but that one!

you can create the magic stick using an UNHACKED psp or a card reader
the icons will show up as corrupt on the psp menu, dont worry about that just put in the memory stick (magic) then the tool battery and follow the on-screen directions!
