backround noise on a burn dvd?

i copied a four 15 minute video clips to one dvd-r. froom a old samsung dvd+vcr combo plaver through my tv tunner card. i thought everything was fine in my finish dvd-r but my friend ask to view it on his home dvd player!! he called me saying that there is a loud backround noise comming from the sound while listening to the dvd. im thinking that its comming from the old dvd player motor.how can i redo the dvd over and delete or edit out the loud backround noise?

It sounded OK when you played the DVD, but the other person hears a noise?
If it sounds ok on your setup,I don't know how you can fix it.
If there is an actual noise constantly running through the recordings, then you might be able to repair it with the likes of 'Audacity'.
The DVD would have to be demuxed to separate the AC3 audio.
The AC3 converted to a WAV file, loaded into Audacity and the noise isolated and removed.
The fixed audio is resaved as a WAV, converted to AC3, then the video and new WAV are combined back into DVD.
1 VOBEDIT- Demux VOB to m2v, ac3 and sup files (sup are subtitles)
2 PX3- Convert AC3 to WAV
3 Audacity- Load wav, adjust audio and output New WAV
4 FFMPEGGui- Convert New WAV to New AC3
5-MUXMAN- Mux m2v with New AC3 into New VOB (a New VOB folder with all the required files is created)

Run VobEdit > 'Open', select VTS_01_1.VOB (the first large VOB of the title, the rest will come in at the same time).
'Demux' > select 'Demux Multiple Streams at once'
The files will be saved as an .m2v ,ac3 and .sup if subtitles were selected.

In Audacity, a small section between dialog is selected to isolate the noise.The program analyzes the noise and the fix applied to the whole.
