Hey guys I'm getting a new 360! BUT here's the thing i wasn't into all the hacking stuff...but i gotta ask...what disc do i use for burning 360 games...and should I MOD it...or flash it? I have no idea! For one thing if i did mod/flash my 360 would i be banned from live FOREVA? AND if i do get my 360 games non burnt can i play them on my flashed 360 and will it work online without being banned? THANKS GUYS! =]

Flashing is up to you. The best brand of cd's are verb's. Yes there is a small chance you could get banned but it would only be on that xbox. Id flash it beacuse it doesnt need all that much work to it. And yes you can flash it and play normal games online without getting banned and you can also play your burnt games online as well but there will be a chance of banning. Cheers Mate

Its really just wat u wana use it for i just got the reg one and i have enjoyed it fine. Now if u plan on downloading alot of market place stuff then u might wana go with something like the elite. It really just comes down to you

http://www.360mods.net/tutorial/Textbook.pdf this is a how to and look up on google a program called xbins that should take care of everything u need but like i was telling someone else its not that easy as it may sound and it can get pretty costly with parts,chips,and if u mess up there goes 400 bucks. But hey if I could learn to do it you shoudlnt have any problems. My advice is read read read and take it slow

No no thats not the case if you brick you xbox you have a new paper weight. Well depending on how you messed it up you might be able to recover it. Its VERY important that you make tons of copies of your orig files when you flashing it. As for the harddrive thing I dont think thats ture, but there may be a case where that might be ture but I have never seen it.

Well lets see I bought both chips so i could mod all xbox's that was 50 bucks then you need all the tools and junk to open the xbox lets say another 50. So about 100 to mod it. Or you can just look on craigs for people who mod xboxs in your area they usaly charge 50 bucks

Thats depends on which xbox360 you have and how much time you wana put in to reading how to do it. usaly takes me 10-20 mins to do an xbox but then again I have read tutorials up and down a million times. And the key is to read read read and take it slow one little slip could cost ya
