this is an issue that has been pissin me off lately. I hav a psp slim 3.80 OFW and want to downgrade to a CFW. I am running vista and hav a modded battery. I, however, cannot get the mms working right. I have been using the "UltimatePandoraPack" and the "totalnewbieasyinstaller" and cant get a working mms. i get to the "mispl.exe J mispl.bin" ad the cmd says that mispl.bin cant open. i could really use some help here plz.

Have you placed the "mispl.bin" in the folder where "mispl.exe" is ??? :)

yep. i try every day and only once it opened, but then the sectors are 2 small. i mspformat but cmd says write error

How much space does it have ??? o_O
4GB memory sticks are not recommended for making "Magic memory sticks" :)
256mb to 2GB memory sticks are recommended :)

i recon vista is your prob. just as vista is a real lady of the night when it comes to a p2p lan it is with its command prompt (mainly due its firewalls and overly lame security). i seriously suggest getting hold of a machine with xp and doing it. post if it works.

double post, bump, whatever you want to call it.
i finally got it working and now my slim is at 3.71 m33-2
can someone give me a link to 3.71 m33-4 and instructions on how to update it.
and what should i put on my psp for psx/n64 emulators, i dont no whats what.

3.71m33-4 Update : HERE
After you download the file, you'll get a folder named "UPDATE" :)
Juz copy that file to the "ms0:\PSP\GAME" folder of your PSP and run it from your PSP :)
Daedalus is a good n64 emulator for the PSP, but mostly all games lag on it >_<
But they don't work on a PSP slim :(
There is no need for an emulator for PSX on a PSP :)
All you need is your PSX image file (usually in ".iso, .img/.ccd, .bin/.cue" file format)
Then download THIS file and then extract it :)
Run the program and you'll know how to use it ^_^
