I went to 360mod.net and found a great tutorial on how to flash a 360. However, it seemed to miss a couple details. I am sure you'll get a good laugh from my questions but I'll never learn if I dont ask.

1. I found the Slax 2 download but am not sure how to burn it to disk. Do I just make a data DVD with nero?
2. This might be dumb a question too but, where does the SATA cable go from the 360. In the tutorial it goes from the 360 to the computer but where in the computer would it go? thanks

Hi mate.
Slax2 is an iso file so you must burn this to a cd using nero burning rom.
You hook your xbox dvd drive sata cable on to your sata port on your motherboard (if your computer supports this ) .
Most people buy a via vt6421 Sata card, install this on your pc, then hook your 360 drive up to this.

instead of looking at the pictures you should read it, in fact you should read it till you figure out where it goes,BECAUSE IT TELLS YOU!!!.
it tells you to put it in a sata port, it also tells you what kind of sata port you will need based on what drive you have in you xbox.
