Hi all!
I'm pretty new to XBox 360 firmware hacking, but already succeeded in flashing the Benq VAD6038 with iXtreme 1.41.
I've been reading a lot of posts about the bitsetting of DVD+R DL to DVD-Rom for 'higher compatibility' and I'm not sure if my burner (TS-L632H) actually supports bitsetting.
Most posts indicate bitsetting is required, because otherwise the XBox DVD drive won't accept the burned games, but some posts say bitsetting is no longer required when using certain firmware versions...
I'm puzzled wether I need to burn using bitsetting, or is it just something 'from the past' and everybody keeps doing it just to be on the safe side?
