So, I have now downloaded a xbox 360 game to my pc. After extracting the Rar.file, there now lies a iso. file, which i'm rather confused about how to burn to my dvd.
I have checked out anoher thread, that told me to download the program " xbox 360 ss merger 1.5o. I've done so, but when i have loaded my iso. file and i am about to load the ss.bin file, the file seems to be missing. Therefore, i can't merge, or whatever it's called. someone help please? :( I don't know why there isn't any ss.bin file! plz help
EDIT: sorry for my english
lol

Did you first use Xdvdmulleter to check the ISO file to make sure that you actually do need to stealth patch it (merge in the bin files)?

If you downloaded the iso, I'd be shocked if it wasn't already patched. Find a prog called xDVDmulletter (here: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/476770 ), and scan the ISO... it'll tell you if you're good to go or not.
Most releases are already patched, so you may just want to fire up your favourite iso burning app and let'er rip.

Get the latest version on blindwrite and burn the .dvd file using it. Burn at 2x or 2.4x using blindwrite using verbatim dvd+dl data.

ramosfet, thanks for trying to help. But so far i have seen two posts from you today. One that was totally incorrect about getting banned playing back ups on XBL. You telling the guy he was safe just because he had iExtreme. Then this one that does not even address the question asked about stealth patching a game? He never even mentioned having the DVD file and burning an ISO file is a different process because you have to manually put in the layer break.
The last thing people need is to get a bunch of incorrect advice. Someone is bound to follow it before someone else corrects you and get themself into trouble.

Thanks for answering everyone! Umm, I haven't used - nor heard of - "xdvdmulleter" but I'll give it a try. Btw, if it shows up to be ready to burn, and i choose to use Nero express - data cd - will it work?

Need to user "burn disc image". xbox360 games don't fit on cds or dvds. They need dvd+dl media.

Yes, i know that, and I am burning to a dl-dvd. But when i chose the burn-image-thing, the only file in the folder that is useable is my iso. file, which is about 7gb, and then Nero tells me that the file needs to be around 2048kb(or so) Idea?

To Burn .DVD file:
1. open newest version of IMGburn (free program)
2. go to mode and select ?write?
3. now browse for and select the .DVD file you just made
4. Select your burning speed, and booktype the media to DVD-Rom if your burner can booktype
5. hit start and burn it.
To burn ISO:
You can do the same if you did not have the .DVD file and only had the ISO. But before you burned it you would manually set the layer break:
tools-->settings-->write-->layer break. Check user specified and set it to 1913760. Click ok and burn as normal. This is only necessary the first time burning a 360 game

Steamy is correct. But if you could get your hands on a full version on blindwrite, it is much easier.

Thanks everyone. Steimy: When i run "imgburn" and do everything you say(following your tutorial for burning the .iso) and i press "write" it tells me that the file is invalid, and that I have to choose the .dvd file. But, when i choose the .dvd, it tells me the same thing :/

I have a simple way for you. I was very confused in the begining when I was starting off like you are.
There is a lot of guides, that use different software, ect..
You need xDVDmulleter to check if your game is stealth patched. This is all you need dvdmulleter for.
Than you need Xbox backup creator and imgburn.
You load your ISO in xbox backup creator and that it sets all the correct settings by its own and burns the game right using imgburn.
I already burnt 30+ games in this way and all work.
Also always use only Verbatim media. Its not because other dont work, they do, but your xbox laser will die fast if you do it.

Ususally the only time that IMGburn will give you that message is when you have both the .DVD file and the ISO in the same folder. If that is the case then it is correct and you should be burning the .DVD file.
If DVDmulleter will not even open the ISO then i say you may have just gotten a corrupt file and you may want to start over. This is why buying a kreon flashed DVD-ROM and making them yourself is always the best option.
