hi i wanna try and make my eye toy sort of wireless?basically i hate having it pluged into the front usb port of the ps3(why they didnt put any usb ports on the back i dont know!!!!)anyway is there such a thing called a wireless usb port? as what id like to do is put the one half of the wireless in the front of the ps3 as it wont have a horrible wire coming out then stick the eye toy usb to the other half which is hiding behind tv for example?possible or not??

I dont think the PS3 would recognize a wireless USB hub,dude.

i thought there was a usb port on the back, some of them clip on fans i have seen have a usb thing in that goes on the back :S

No the PS3 doews not have a USB port on the back.

Yes you can get a wireless USB hub.

That actually looks fairly interesting, though I wish it was a black/chrome design instead of the silver accents so it would match the ps3 ^.^

How about this one Canuckerz.
This one says its plug and play but i still have my doubts about it working on the PS3.Also these things are quite expensive,the Belkin one it £130($260) and this one is £107($214).

Much better and its a piano black finish as well. And I think I spy blue LED displays as too, your a magician my friend =D Cheaper and sexier what else could you ask for? Still that's pretty damn expensive, considering a wireless router is a fifth of the price.

I'm a fan of D-links but that looks more like it would match the Wii or 360.

Yes the circle on the top does look similar to the 360s light ring,with the prices these things cost i think id just put up with the cable,if its tidied properly it would be hard to notice.

Yeah the prices are downright outrageous, I'd pay like $60 bucks tops for that, even the sexy black/chrome one. $250 is far far too much for something that simple just for a tiny inconvenience.

there all pretty cool, but wont the lead from the eye toybe less of a mess than the wireless dongle thing hangin out the front??
all though some of them do look damn sexy lol then again for 140 quid i would want it too!!!

Yes the lead would be less of a mess if tidied away properly,it would have been handy for some people if Sony hadnt taken out that fith USB port(the one that was supposed to be in the back).

yeah it does seem a bit stupid to be fair. round the back it would have been good as not in the way etc. you could have put an external drive on there and just left it out the way kinda thing or like folks want for the eye toy etc
