Subject. I use to use my Desktop but it crashed a while back I been using its capture card now im stuck with my laptop But Alot of people been wondering how I got a specific Achievement And I usually record myself playing and getting it. Is there any way i can record on a laptop or any other style? I would Extremely appreciate it I want it direct record not like with a camera.

You should be able to record it on a tape if you plug the xbox into your vcr, though that may not help.

ya but the transfer to pc from vcr is a pain, i use to do it fairly easy via capturecard for direct record but laptops are very limited i bought the usb av capture for laptops but its terrible

thanks for replying though =D, Maybe I should just get a dvd Recorder so I can connect the 360 to the av part of the dvd recorder and just direct record it to dvd and then transfer it to avi still a hard process but I hope theres other alternatives

if you have a laptop you can invest in something like this:

that one got bad reveiws but you can use that tp start your search. But truthfully i am not sure recording yourself for other people is worth $130 to you.
There are also wireless ethernet versions that will let you connect through your home network but they are not any cheaper.

Then there are USB types but i can not image that they would have good quality either.
