Why is it everytime i go on COD4 at the moment i always get stuck in the game with the annoying kid that either wants to constantly sing, whistle or play his sterio down the MIC. These attention seeking idiots are ruining my fun. I hope a patch comes out soon with a kik vote to get rid of these tossers!
I play search and destroy anyone else? Maybe i can add a few more mature players.

The option to mute is suppose to be released in the next patch as well, whenever they get around to releasing it.
My psn is Canuckrz, I'd be glad to play but I rarely can because of my net atm. Most times there's far too much jitter to keep connected; or nothing at all for that matter. I really need to find a 20 foot pole to fix that darn antenna =\

I know how u feel i joined a match and everytime this guy shot his weapon he would scream down the mic in a high pitched squeeky voice "YIPPEE" god these idiots do my frickin head in, I also would like to see a vote to kick option and get rid of these fools

Wow, I guess I've been lucky. I haven't had anyone as obnoxious as to yell every time they fired. Obviously, I've come across players that have the mic turned up so loud that I can hear their kids crying in the other room or the echo of the actual game playing back. It's incredibly annoying.
Look for me there on there as well. My PSN is in the sig and my mic level is 3 lol.
Latest AnyDVD to rip > VOBB to blank the unwanted on a DVD > Shrink to compress > ImgBurn to burn = Never starting a thread asking how to backup a movie

Yeah I know how you feel. I really don't bother with having my headset on. I use a USB microsoft life chat headset and I just basically plug it in so the voice go through the headset and not through the TV. I just put the headset on the floor. There's a lot of ignorant people on playing CoD4 that ruins the experience.

I hate those guys. I only ever have my mic on when friends are playing with me other than that I just turn it off because I don't want to hear it.

lol i was showing my friend what cod4 was like online, and we had this little kid trying to cuss us all the time. I think one of them was "your mums calling you for breakfast... you should get off this game"

The mic is a great addition. There's nothing better than telling your squad that the air strike is going to bravo or there's a sniper on the second floor south of alpha.
But yeah it does suck sometimes. Apparently this playstation eye is super sensitive because even at mic level 3, it was picking up the sounds of my keyboard while we were waiting in intermission lol. I remember reading that the mic on the Eye was great (the only reason I bought it) but damn! lol
I've since turned it down to 2.

Actually I found that the directional mic on the PS eye works very well for not having a mute button, if you have ever used that darn jabra bt125 that came with warhawk you will see how much better it is.
