I've heard rumors on the web and through the company that modded my wii that the new update on brawl (US) may render wii key systems inoperable. Is this even remotely true? If it is I'm sad I chiped my wii two weeks ago.

well rumors are start by one person asking the questions and formating it as "i heard a rumor" so really the only way to find out is when it comes out!

I like my chip and we'll have to wait and see; currently I am playing the jap version and I figure that worked so hopefully brawl will as well (which I plan on paying for to support the developers).
