If you selected Dual Boot, just turn on the Xbox with the eject button. Or, there should be an option that says like "Boot MS Dashboard".

Ok try to click "Uninstall Softmod". Then reinstall it, and when you are asked, click the one that says something like "Dual Boot Open Tray=Retail". That way, when you open up the tray it will go to the MS dash.

Okay a couple of questions:
How is your console modded?
Did you perhaps delete the contents of drive C:? That is the bane of a lot of people. C: still contains the original dash, E: contains the eploited dash.
To get to the uninstall part, you have to run the game save exploit you originally used, but I'm wondering if you actually deleted the original dash, that won't work. There are ways to rebuild or reload your HDD with a clean dash. Look here:

Basically with SID you can make your HDD factory again.

The C drive still contains the original dash, E has the evox.
I got the AID disc, and i am going to try that
EDIT: I put the AID disc in, but my xbox does not recognise it. It is on a cd-rw... :(

Best way to get to the ms dash is to find the correct folder and the xbe linked to it. Go to your apps and load xboxplorer and find msdash.xbe and select it. It should load your stock ms dash. It might be named something else as there are plenty of different ways to mod the xbox. Also check the link to the file if you have a link to msdash.xbe. Some don't have it named correctly and are linking to olddash.xbe or something like that and it just goes to a black screen and hangs.
Hope this helps
