With Windows ME I could turn on my XBOX and FTP files after the computer has been on.
With XP Pro I can only transfer files if I turn on the computer after I turn on the xbox.
Is there anyway I can turn on the box without restarting the computer?

I have the xbox set to static and I disabled all my computer connections except for the ethernet, which I configured to have a static IP. I am using a crossover cable to go directly from the xbox to the computer.

what file system is running on ME? FAT32 cant handle some of the large iso's that you'll get when you back up some games, it has to be done on an NTFS partition. for some games it's fine, but there are times you'll end up with iso's over 4gb in size
