I stuck my slim battery in my fat psp (dont ask why) and now it won't work in either. I think the contacts might be messed a little bit, but I was extra careful and have done this before.

Help?

other wise try turning on your psp with the charger, then put in the battery wait until the battery image in the right hand corner appears, then go into the settings to the battery information and make sure there is a read (whatever % is displayed is fine!) then take out the charger,
and see if the psp will still run if so try to restart it and see if it'll work then!

power psp with charger and turn on>put it battery>wait a few minutes> take out charge> try and restart

i can possible see how the eeprom would have gotten messed up
but if you want try and run the Pandora's battery creator and flash the eeprom, also it maybe a glitch with the firmware, what firmware are you running?

btw::)) check my siggy!

Already tried all that charger business. It must be the contacts, I guess...

My fat was on 1.50, and my slim is 3.90 M33-2, and no Pandora battery creators even acknowledge the battery is in there.

I saw!

ya batteries are pretty simple, take a piece of thick plastic the size of the gaps, try to push that in and straiten the copper strips, i had a bad battery and this seemed to help? (some guy at dcemu told me and it worked!?!?!)

Darts didn't work, thin piece of plastic didn't work...

It is under store warranty, maybe I should take it back and say the battery doesnt work?

But then, I don't want to lose my screen protecter, just got it on perfect....

Ok, here's a ghost story for you guys.

I left the battery for an hour, thinkin its f***ed, then I pop it in and it works.

HERES THE SCARY PART: It had a near full charge, and now...its almost all gone. Erie...

dam, some times its a freakin joke with these psp's huh!@, thats weird with the battery, but i'll put 5 bucks down to say that in the future you may have issues again,(maybe maybe not!@#$%^&*)
or!!!!111

it could have been your psp the entire time!!!
by allowing the battery to stay out of a psp for aprrox.20 minutes (it could be as short as 5) all the electricity will discharge from the system (motherboard) and the system will be reset(i know i know if you take your psp battery out for 1 second you'll have to re:enter the settings but this is something different!) sometimes glichs reading the memory stick and other minor things are fixed by this

but really its just a polynomial thing i guess is all
i have no idea how its working leadbaron but alls good in what ends good eh?

I don't think the system was the issue, since I used my fat battery in it while I waited.

But, you're right, it works now, thats what's important.
