HI guys, I just succusfelly downgraded my Fat PSP to 1.5 official sony firmware.

Im looking into custom firmware and I want to know which one is the best for stability as I dont own a pandora battery so I cant unbrick my psp should i fuck it up. Although I am prepared to fork out some cash for the datel "tool" should I eventually do the inevitable and brick my psp.

Anyway all I want to do on my psp is:

1) Play PIRATE GAMES of course
2) Play Emulated snes games
3) Surf the web in a better browser then the shit that sony has, like a proper browser that can watch youtube vids and stuff

Thats about all. So which custom firmware would you recommend. I have got a 4gb mem stick at the moment too.

P.S. Is there anyway I can get my fat psp to play movies on a TV. I could have sworn when sony was advertising the features prior to the release of the psp that they said you could watch movies on a tv and have 5.1 surround sound! It seems to me like the AV cable is only available for slim psp's and that sucks.

I think I will go with that.

Im currently on 3.52 m33 but I cant upgrade because my damn psp wont go into recovery mode? I hold down the R trigger but nothing happens? So I cant change the kernel settings required for m334

PS im using the one stop guide to Custom firmware. Its really well written and is very helpful just I cant get into recovery mode. But you guys are great on this forum you have gotten me to custom firmware so far and it was easy with the guides so big shout outs to everyone on the forum your all sick lads.
