Almost any dual layer one will work, it's crazy that people think there is a certain one that will only work. Think they get the samsung kreon drives confused-only used for ripping games, not burning.

I was under the impression that some games still require bitsetting for a flashed drive to read them?

I just use my burner that came with my HP (not changing any setting) and use imgburn (set the layer break to 1913760) and works fine. People pimp the Pioneers, but I know all the other DL ones will work fine too. Just get you a newer one, not some old POS one. I'd get you an external burner. Or just get you a decent SATA internal. I would make sure to buy a Samsung Kreon DVD rom drive to rip the games (i have the 163A sata) and that's the best money you'll spend.

someone help me please cause i'm a little confused here.
the tutorial for burning 360 games says that i need DVD+R DUAL Layers isnt it?
So i take a loot at my hardware retail shop and all i can find are burners with DVD-R Dual Layer in the description, but only DVD+R DOUBLE Layers.
What is it then, Dual or Double Layers?

+R dual/double layer discs/burner are just fine.

Any burner by BenQ that will use Q-Suite 2.0
I love my BenQ
Avoid Plextor and Sony.
NEC, Pioneer and Samsung all make good products as well.
