I have a LG GDR-8162B in a usb enclosure, and when ever i try to dump a wii game it does not start and says that i might have a faulty drive. Does anyone know why this might be? I just plugged it in and windows xp said that the drive has been installed and is ready to use. Do i need to download a different firmware or something? Any help would be appreciated. I mean when i look at the drive in the rawdump it gives funky characters, look at the picture for details.

Bad title - you want help with that drive then maybe mention it in the title?

maybe the drive doesn't interface the same was in usb as it does in IDE - I dunno but also there is a possibility it is actually faulty.

I have the same drive expect i have it installed in my computer and it wrks perfectly i ve already riped tons of games i dont use no UsB or anything
