I know that... but it doesn't work with .rar files. Do I need to convert them to .ptf, and if so how do I do that?

I don't understand. When I extracted one of the themes from this site none of them were ptf files like you said they would be. They were pgf and prx and rco files. I tried putting them in the THEME folder in the PSP folder, and in the THEME folder in the ISO folder, but neither worked. Can you please explain what I need to do in detail.

Those are flash 0 themes >_>
You need a custom firmware to make them work >_<
You'll have to go to recovery mode and then activate the USB to "flash 0" and replace the files >_>
Back up your "flash 0" first before doing anything to it
Also, make sure that the themes are for your firmware cuz if it is not for your firmware, you'll end up getting a semi-brick >_<

Ok, so I have cfw 3.71 m33 and I set the xmb usb device to flash 0 in recovery mode. And then I extracted the files into my PSP > THEME folder, but I got an error message. It said it had a problem with the vsh/module/opening_flash or something like that and then it said there is probably no disk space available (and I got the same error message when I tried putting it in other folders). But my memory stick has plenty of disk space... and anyway when I looked in the vsh > module folder, I saw the opening_flash file or whatever it was called, so I don't know why the error message said it didn't work. But when I restarted my psp it was the same as before; the theme wasn't there. What should I do?

Well no need to put ANY file on your memory stick >_>
Download THIS file, extract them, you'll find two folders "dic" and "font" and then toggle USB for "flash 0" and then replace these files to the ROOT of your "flash 0" :)
That should give you alot of space :)
Now, replace all the theme files that you downloaded in "flash 0" :)

Um, ok. I don't understand what you're trying to say. Am I supposed to make a folder called "flash 0" or something? What do you mean when you say replace the files to the ROOT of your "flash 0"? I made a folder called "flash 0" and I got the same error message anyway.

No no :P
I mean go to recovery mode and "Toggle USB to flash 0" :)
That's what I meant by flash 0 :)
You do not have anything to do on your memory stick >_<

So my xmb usb device is set to flash 0, I say enable usb in recovery mode, I extract the files you told me to and the files from my theme into my disk drive that pops up (which is the root of "flash 0" I guess), and then nothing happens. Where is my theme? It seems like the answer must be obvious.....

Wait >_<
You've done it wrong
I'll tell you what to do >_>
When in recovery mode, go to "Advanced" and you'll find "Toggle USB to flash 0" :)
That's the "flash 0" I'm talking about :)
Make a backup of all your "flash 0" files :) [Go to "Tools", "Folder Options..." and then check the "Show hidden files" and also, uncheck the "Hide protected operating system files"]
Now, put the files and your theme :)
Also, in the XMB USB device, set it back to "Memory stick" because mingling with your "flash 0" when the PSP XMB is on can be "VERY" risky !!!
