Hi everyone, this started out so simple lol dku-5 and dejans unlocking guide = my n70 unlocked...... WRONG !!!! lol

Ok so ive got the software and drivers for the dku-5 cable ( prolific.....well i didnt know lol ) and i start dejas progs with the n70 connected ... i can read the phone..... thats it wont wr backup wont spunlock read, read and read somemore ok wrong cable should be using someother dku-5 cable, ok no worries its only a few quid for a different cable then i start reading about cables and after nearly 2 hours im banging my head against the wall lol, so if you guys could help me answer some questions i would be very gratefull...

1, can this prolific usb dku-5 cable be adapted to work ?

2 can this cable be turned from usb to serial and would it work that way ?

3 are there no emulation programs or bb5 progs that can unlock for free using the cable that i bought ?

Any help is gratefully received

Ps if there are pinouts that i can use to convert anything to anything lol please include them, im pretty good with a soldering iron.
