Any1 had this problem harddrive corrupted ps3 would not start again have exchanged at shop only problem though was a 60gig now got 40 gig anyway does any1 no how this could have happened have been playin cod4 since xmas then today the system told me to update to cod4 1.10 then got message harddrive corrupted then had to take back to shop has this happened to any1 else

What exactly happened before the HDD got corrupted?

when inserted disc the playstation told me to update to latest update which was 1.10 even though we did this at xmas then an error code came up in instalation process which i cant remember then tryed to skip the instalation next it said you need 10mb free which i cant understand i had 45 gig left so i go onto data utility and it says corrupt data i tryed to delete it but then it says corrupt data please restore and all u can press is ok and after process it restarts system and tells me to do the same again.then we just go around the same process.So took back to shop they exchanged for 40gig and gave me £50
