i've heard that Dark_AleX had revised the PSP v3.80 m33-2 remote play to work without the need of enabling ATRAC via internet connection.
how would i go about doing this? (if this exists?)
thanks in advance.

hmm....
when you goto network->remote play, it never asked you to enable it first by going to settings->enable ATRAC?
hmm... when you first registered your PSP to your PS3, what PS3 and PSP firmware were you using? (if possible to remember)
thanks alot man. hope i can get this to work. (just for kicks) lol

I cant remember the PS3s firmware but the PSP firmware was between 3.70 and 3.79 before i put on cfw 3.80 the one i had was cfw but it wasnt by Dark Alex.
Have you got any mates with internet,if so just take your PS3 around to thier house and enable ATRAC there.

nah, theres no problem, it's just the fact that you need ATRAC enabled on the PS3 for it to work. (even though Sony admits that ATRAC was a big mistake)
did you have to do this?
if not, what PS3 firmware are you running?
thanks for the post man.

Once i got the PS3, i just enabled all, didnt think it would be a factor in the remote play.
So when registering the psp atrac was already enabled.
It wouldnt do any harm to enable it, but i suppose people with no internet connection would have problems....

Only way, and its abit awkward, is to take it to one of your mates house, that has a connection and enable it there.
