can anybody tell me, why the hell i can't get v3.90 m33-2 to work on my psp slim. everytime i run the damn thing it says

"the game cannot be started."
(800201148)

what the hell does this mean

i have done all the steps in order to run custom firmware but my damn psp is taunting me, i losing my mind over this. it shows up in memory card and when i run it, the psp logo shows up and that stupid ass error shows up.

please help

Go into recovery/configuration change umd mode to Sony NP9660 no umd

thank you for replying, where is recovery/configuration i looked for an hour and can;t find it. it may help you to know that i have a psp slim v3.90

The M33 Recovery Menu
u can open ,just click on [select]key
and just choice UMD ISO MODE - Sony NP9660
and exit

thanks for all your help, but my problem is that i cant get it to install. i put it on my mem stick duo, put it in the psp. went to game, went to mem stick, i see it then click to run.

when i click on it, i see the psp logo and then this shows up

the question i probably should be asking is can i run v3.90 m33-2 if already have v3.90

if you mean you are on 3.90 sony firmware then you need to use Pandora's battery & mstick to install custom fw...

well if thats case i will just wait to do this later, when it becomes more efficient to add custom firmware. but i will keep trying
