4) At DOS prompt type c:\PANDORA\mspformat\mspformat.exe X (Replace X with your PSP DRIVE LETTER). You will be prompt with a warning saying your about to format the drive f
Type Y then return to format. Close DOS PROMPT window.
but it gives me an error.

You'll have to use the other healthy PSP man :)
And also, win XP :)

The pandora hack needs your PSP to read the memory stick too >_>
But your PSP cannot read memory sticks >_<

Juz try it though :)

okies dude :)
Congrats :)
And I assume that your memory stick can be read by your PSP now :)
btw, which firmware are you on ?? o_O
You need the 1.50 kernel to make the "pandora battery creator" software work :)
Tell me which firmware you are on and I'll give you the link to it's 1.50 kernel add-on ^_^

NO!! No no no no no..... no...

Congradulations! Your stupid brother probably (I might be wrong)upgraded your system to SONY's official 3.90!! YAY~~~!!!

Thats why nothing works anymore... SIGH
You need a Pandora's Battery...

It dosen't matter if the MMR stick is fake or real...
The MMR stick should be anywhere from 256MB to 2GB.
As long as the files are on there and it is possible to format the MMR stick "logically" (using the command prompt thing)

If you're gonna make a Pandora, then i suggest you use the TOTALNewbi EasyInstaller - It works for FAT and SLIM and installs 3.71M33 Download: HERE

If you are lucky and you still have CFW, you use that PSP to flash your battery into a jigkick using THESE files. Just put them on the MMR stick, make sure you have 1.5 Kernel on there (If applicable), GAME folder is set to 1.5 in recovery menu (If applicable)...
Then you run the program called "Pandora's Battery Creator" and follow on screen instructions on making your "Pandora's Battery"

If you don't have CFW on your PSP, then you first get a spare battery (PSP-280 - THIS one, make sure its NOT fake), carefully take the casing off and remove one of the legs on one the microchip. AS SHOWN IN THIS VIDEO!

When you're done, tape that sucker together and put both; the MMR stick and the battery into the PSP.

You should see this thing that says "Press x to install 3.71M33"
Then you do that and you see a bunch of directories flow down the screen... wait for a wile and when its done restart with a regular battery or power cable and youre back to 3.71 M33.

Still waiting for u to check what system you are on. >.<

My PSP FAT History: 3.40 > 3.51 > 3.71 > 3.71 M33-4 > 3.80 M33-5 > 1.5 Kernel Addon >I restored a slim's nand-dump.bin on mine and it died... so i sold it.

My PSP SLIM History: 3.60 > 3.80 M33-5 > 3.90 M33-2...

aahh :)
So, well download THIS file :)
You'll get a folder named "UPDATE" :)
Juz copy that folder to your "ms0:\PSP\GAME" folder of your PSP :)
You must be having the official 1.50 update :)
Rename that "EBOOT.PBP" to "150.PBP" and place it in the root of your PSP memory stick :)
Now, the 1.50 kernel has been added on your PSP :)
Put the "pandora battery creator" [i.e the "pandora_battery" & "pandora_battery%" folders] to the "ms0:\PSP\GAME150" of your PSP and press the "L" & "R" buttons [i.e "Left trigger" & "Right trigger" of your PSP] at the same time :)
Make sure the "eeprom.bin" of your battery is in the ROOT of your PSP memory stick :)

Any stick would do :)
But the battery should be the pandora battery :)
You'll have to boot your PSP up with the AC adapter :)
After your PSP boots up, then put the "pandora" battery and then run the application :)
