Hey. Well, I finally finished modding my ps2. As directed, we did section 3 of our Duo3 by cutting a slit in the holes and pushing the wires down. However, when we put the ps2 back together, the power felt loose and the light didn't turn on. This seemed to be the problem we had at the very beginning, but upon reexamination, the power inlet is completely stable within the board. Did we brick our ps2??

Please help.

Here are pics of my progress:

Buu2,

Looking at the first picture you posted, it looks to me like your wires are way too long. Something is either getting pinched when you reassemble the PS2 or you're losing signal from the wires being too long. If you look at the first pic, look at the controller port on the left. I usually remove the screw to the upper left of that controller port and position the chip there. Then I take a hammer and pound the screw "port" or hole flat. Your wires will be much shorter and eliminate the possibility of something getting pinched or signal loss. Just leave that screw out when you reassemble.

Let us know how it goes!
