hi everybody,

i know their are 2 ways to make a pandora's battery.
1. softmod
2. hardmod

i need to hard mod my psp slim battery inorder to make it into a pandora's battery.

i know you can either pull the 5th pin out from the ico4 or co4 chip or you can cut a pcb or ocb line.

which would you suggest i do?
1. cut the 5th pin?
2. cut the line?

i really dont know which to do because i dont know which has greater success into becomming a pandora's battery.

please reply and thank you very much for your feedback in advance

well after a year out of the psp scene i have decided to rejoin. a simple thing would be to solder a switch to the pcb that way you can switch between normal and pandora whenever you want

If you cut the pin you can still recover it by using a pencil to draw a line between the points. Careful when you cut the pin though, if you arc the pin next to it your battery is toast.

you can also cut the trace near the pin(its pin 4 for the slim) its got 19 or 61 right next to it(however you look at it)
thats what i did.
and you can use a pencil to fix it(i kinda "shaded" the LITTLE aera around it)
