i flashed my hitachi drive and i was fooling around and i think i erased the keys because it will not play game but it it will play movie i have a usb to sata cable and i tried to do the restore bat file and it does no work it still won'5t play game is there a program for like a master rest so i can start over

Look in the backup folder in see if it made a backup, if it did open it up in toolbox,if you have numbers and letters in the key section you should be able to reflash it back, if there is nothing as in a backup folder ,or in the key place,congrats on your new paper weight,or dvd player cause you bricked it in there is no master reset when your dealing with firmware flashing.

When you used the restore bat did you use the key you should have saved from the drive? If you don't have the key saved you might still be able to get it off of your flashed drive. Search the forums and you should find the answer, in the last two weeks I'm almost positive I read one of the more experienced posters walking someone through it.

Look what he wrote,He said it will play movies and not games so he can't read the key cause it's not there,unless he happend to make a backup ,which would be in his backup folder.In he flashed it with a messed up drive key like ffffffffffffffff or 11111111111111111.That's why it reads dvd's not games.Try this matrixb17 open your flashed bin up in toolbox read what the drive key reads.I always will boot back to window's on any drive in check my backed up bin in toolbox before I flash anything.That is the only way to be safe that you are flashing it with the right key.The first benq I flashed never transfered the key over to hacked bin so i manually did it with toolbox,sounds like what might of happend to you.Let us know how it turns out.
