I'm looking at the back of my Call of Duty case and I'm not seeing Co-Op on it.

I suggest reading reviews before you buy a game, they'll tell you whether or not it's local co-op or only via Online.

A lot of games are in fact misleading. They say Co-Op but what they really mean is that there is a Co-Op online and they never actually define that. So you get it thinking that you would have system link or splitscreen only to find that it is all online Co-Op.

The one you mentioned Kane & Lynch i had a good time playing offline Co-Op

Usually racing games and sports games have offline Co-Op.
I think COD2,COD3 and Perfect Dark Zero do.
Ghost Recon AW 2
Rainbow Six Vegas (my favorite 360 game)
Gears Of War
all listed in this article about this exact topic:

Me and my friends were asking ourselfs that yesterday. There are so many games for the 360 but very few offline co-op. 360 game makers seem to be forgeting that not everyone has online and or wants to play online. I understand that there is a big market for online gameing but it would really be nice if they brought back those great everyone stays over 1am in the morning no sleep co-op games that we used to love so much

just wait, they will get much worse. Start looking at games for Windows. It is the wave of the future. The online will cost you the same as Xbox Live (unless you have a Live account then it is free).
And more and more games will be online play where you can play people on both the 360 and on the PC like the one game Shadowrun was. They will start thinking more and more about that and less about two friends playing at home. Since friends at home not online does not make them $50 a year.

That is why I am thinking more and more about the ps3,free online play.I'm sure one day they may charge for it.But microsoft charges for everything under the sun.And they take away the 2 player home games so you are forced to play online,They are smart i give them that, but I think it will prob hurt them in the end.If sony continues to offer everthing for free, and most of all get cost down and more games.I can see them winning the end of this war.Look how well they are doing with the 400 dollar unit.It can only get better. My biggest gripe is my buddies come around and dont have a live account.we cant play.

Halo 1, 2, and 3, you can play split screen on all of them. I played through all of these with my six year old son and had a great time. (just finished Halo3)it was great.

I agree, they are a business and they charge for everything. But i doubt highly that it will hurt them in the end. Xbox Live has been around for a long time now. And with the old Xbox there were even some free online systems that you can use with it and people STILL bought Xbox Live because it was simply better. And they keep adding to it and making innovations with their updates, and yes we still keep buying it. Being able to game with PC people is not really a drawback for them, it is an asset. Because now you will have that many more people online to play with.

If Xbox Live costing $50 a year was going to hurt them it would have been free a long time ago. But the fact is for $50 a year you really get a great value when you think about it.

It is your online movie store, you can download TV shows, movie trailers, game trailers, game trials, game demo's, the actual games, Arcade games, classic xbox games and many other things. You get to play with people all over the world. And you can just sit in a room lobby and talk with them for hours. There is just a lot that it offers for the price.

I can't believe people think $50 a year is a lot of money. Hell I played WoW for a year, that was almost $200 down the drain and the game was ALWAYS down tuesdays for service (not to mention when the servers didnt work for no reason). All I got for that money was a loss of self respect for getting sucked into it.

If $4 a month is too much money for you I suggest you stop using your food stamps to buy games.

I know wat you mean I hate people who are like Im not paying that much to play when ps3 is free. Wats 5 bucks a month? Just dont eat lunch for one day that month and you can afford xbox live. Most people all they care about is having everything free and easy and beacuse of that they never get a chance to enjoy great online games. But I have bitched enough so ya

Look I'm not saying that live isn't worth it right now.I am just saying if Sony continues to build there online like they have been in offer it for free,That will hurt in the end why wouldn't it really ?If they offer the same service for free.If anything it will atleast lower the live price. And if yall must know 100.00 is alot for me, to play my cuz a game of ace combat, cause he don't have a Xbox and I got 2.I Could care less about online play,ya it's fun to meet new people, and sure all the other things are cool,But I just want to simply play a mission with a Buddy or Family.I just recently got rid of live Cause I don't play it much anymore.I don't think we should be forced to pay for a service that has been free for many years and that is play a buddy. And for the record I am not broke or on foodstamps I am far from there. And to get back on subject all im looking for is some system link or split screen co-op games.
