Hi

Is there anyway to test a "otheros.bld" file on my pc instead on a ps3 cuase im not sure if the file that i found is gonna damage my ps3.
And if i can't test it on my pc, how can i go back to the xmb if i install this file or linux?

If you install linux you can get back to the XMB menu by typing "boot-game-os" without quotes at the kboot menu. The otheros.bld should be fine as long as you got it from a trusted site.

I got the "otheros.bld" file from a torrent site so i won't use it.
Ill try to install linux soon.
