Unplayable Disc Error, but only on 1 game

I just started getting the unplayable disc error today, out of the blue, but it only happens on 1 game (Rock Band) and all of the other games I've tried so far work perfectly (Skate. and Halo 3) Rock Band gives me the unplayable disc error with the grinding noise, and sometimes the grinding noise continues even after I turn the console off. This happens when the console is both vertical and horizontal, and I'm pretty sure it can't be a problem with the disc, though I'll try cleaning it/using a disc skip fixer later.

Any help?

Also since I can't figure out how to edit the message;

I haven't modded my 360 in any way whatsoever, and I've had it since Christmas of 2006. Hence, this is the original disc and not a backup.
