i downloaded thru usenext burnout paradise in iso an .dvd format an then burned thru imgburn when i put it in it read the game but says i cant play it bc this disc region code is incorrect for my console

that is because the game is not region free and you obviously downloaded the wrong version. Modding your console WILL NOT make it play all regions.
