Hi
Is anyone else having issues with Undercutter?
I sent my Wii away to have a Wiikey fitted, but when I got it back it doesnt seem to work (ie play backups, I've tried many different back ups on different medium at different speeds, all with the same outcome, the wii doesnt recognise the disk) originals work fine.
My Wii starts with LEH135.... so I thought it must be a D2C but Simon at Undercutter said that he fitted a Wiikey as the chipset was D2B. Since I got the Wii back on the 19th I've not been able to contact anyone at undercutters, via email or phone, I've been trying for the last 48hrs, I'm not even sure that a WiiKey was fitted as the wii seems the same as when I sent it off and i dont own a tri-wing (although I have one on order).
My questions are really these, is there any other way of finding out if a WiiKey has been fitted, without taking the console apart and is anyone else having problems with undercutters.
Does anyone have any positive stories about undercutter, cause if they are geniunely busy I will retract my post and post an apoligy. Just getting very worried about their lack of customer contact.
Yeah dude im having a problem with thema s well!!!
I bought a PSP faceplate just before I went to bed bout 1am today and I checked on my order and the site had gone down. I tried calling but no use and the only email ive got that doesn't send a postmaster problem is : sales@undercutter.co.uk. I only spent bout £23 and thank god i didnt spend more but they were a really trusty site. I know loads of people who were happy with em. Im just going to assume they've had a technical problem and if it doesn't come by Monday ill take it as a loss and ill have to decide whether to report to police or not. Didn't want to have to go that far but I will if i have to and you should do the same. Can't let em get away with it!!!!
Gd luck to us both and anyone else who is having problems.
Hurrah!! managed to talk to a undercutter engineer today, and he said that I was using the wrong type of medium. When putting your disk into your dvd burner (using img.burn) check the type and if it reads cmc then its not even worth burning the disk. Its got to read GO5 which verbatium and a few of the other top-end brands do, its all to do with the DVD dyecast CMC no good GO5 good.
I've got some verbatium X16 on order so I'll wait and let you guys know the outcome.
Also their webpage is back on line, I mentioned it to the engineer on the phone and 1/2 hour later the webpage reappeared..
