I want to purchase a bunch of verbatims but have heard that bad batches of these have been sold from newegg and supermedia store. So is this true and where should I get my verbatims, newegg is the cheapest

If you order the 15pk of Verbatims from Newegg that comes in the orange packaging those are guranteed to come out of singapore. I have purchased a couple of them now and have had 100% burn success. If you order the 20pk with the purple packaging then its a hit or miss as you may get either and India or Singapore batch depending on what's coming out of their warehouse that day.

I have used about 75+ of them w/ only 1 coaster... People say the Singapore one's are better... I personally haven't had any problems w/ the ones made in India... IMO they are still better than anything else on the market if you can't get the ones made in Singapore...

I dont get all the verbatim talk i use cheap crapy memorex dl's and have rarly ever had any problems guess thats just me
