hi, my brother recently gave me a nokia 6230i which is on orange, but as my sim is on o2 its restricted, is there any way u can help? the imei no. is, 358827006211092

Insert a NON accepted sim card.When it says phone restricted, press "undo."
It will ask for a restriction code,and enter the code in to the box on screen,and then input the code

Remove Your Sim Card, Power The Phone On
Press # From The (Insert Sim) Screen
Enter codes WITHOUT spaces.
Press * 3 times fast for (p)
Press * 4 times fast for (w)
Press * 2 times fast for (+)
Verify code before pressing the last #(No Private Messages Please)

that didnt appear to work, could i checked the number u gave me a few times, what happens if i run out of goes?

If you run out you have to Take the mobile to your local shop and ask if they do a direct unlocking service.
