hi, i need a bit of help , i have got the executor chip and can get the drive into mode b but cant get the pc to find the drive . i have the recommended via pci card but had no success. is there another way i can get the pc to find the drive.?

I've tried using the via 6421 also and i cannot get a hitachi to boot past the windows screen.
I believe the intel ICH* chipsets are the most compatible. You got any other PC's with onboard sata available to use?

my board has sata and finds the drive but wont boot once found it :(
