Is there a way to use USB Hard drive in replacement of memory stick for games and movies?

Hi, I just bought a portable USB hard drive. Is there a way to connect it to the PSP and use its contents for games and movies?

Basically making it as a replacement for the memory stick. Thanks in advance.
